WELCOME TO ChetaLive

 
From the day I started travelling - and even more so after selling my house in October 2006 – I have been looking for ways to stay in touch with my family and friends. With intermittent success..
Partly for obvious practical reasons: frequent trips around and to the other side of the planet provide me with unforeseen challenges in the area of internet connections, network coverage for my mobile phone and out-of-proportion bills for the cost of phone calls I do make.

Along the way however, I discovered that I had also made up this story that I had to break away from my past completely and cut off all communication in order to be free. Such nonsense . I’m glad to say that my experience over the past few years has profoundly changed that outlook on life!

THE WAY FORWARD

In 2009, while spending time with family and friends, I realized that I wanted to be with them in the moment, and hear THEIR stories, rather than reminiscing on the months before. As I still want share what happened, I had to come up with an overall solution. And I have!

ChetaLive is my platform for telling you about what’s happening in my life. Over time this website will paint a picture of who I really am; the blog posts reveal my focus, the Album pages the locations and other neat stuff. It is designed for two-way communication, and I invite you to be part of my experience by commenting on what you read or watch. That way we will be close, even though we may be far apart.
